I picked my friend Dan’s brain about slide guitar and found out what sort of accessories to dig up for it.


Now I’ve got the fingerpicks and the tuning, just need to write some riffs on it. (No torturous beginner lap steel recordings. YOU ARE SPARED.)
I also used my soldering learning from last week to finally pull apart a few broken instrument cables and resolder them. Mmm, the smell of accidentally-fused plastic and cloth!

Then I thought, hey, the pickup switch on my baritone guitar is acting up.

That’s what it looks like on top. From underneath, I saw this:

…and quickly sealed it back up again.
